We are proud to have been serving the local community in Saxlingham & Nethergate and much of the wider surrounding areas in Norwich for many years. Although we have many traditional dishes on our menu, we also have exclusive dishes including our house specialties, various duck dishes, sea bass, salmon and other seafood dishes inspired our heritage, as well as extensive vegetarian dishes. All our dishes are cooked fresh to order, using locally sourced produce and fresh herbs & spices, to bring an authentic taste to everything we prepare.

  Great atmosphere. Over attentive staff.
Great ambience. Smart venue, smart staff. Worth paying bit more for better food. Over attentive staff to the point three different staff asked if we wanted more drinks within one minute. Couple of downsides. This time and last the first thing we hear was staff chastising their workers. Pappadoms were stale. They replaced them with excellent ones. Part-time staff don’t share the automatically applied service charge. You feel rushed. But clearly v popular and good for a celebration.

  Lovely evening meal
We ate here again on the evening of Saturday 4 July. We enjoy this Indian restaurant very much. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. One of us has allergies to gluten, dairy and egg, but it is never a problem here, as the food is cooked fresh and can cater for us. There is plenty of choice for both meat eaters and vegetarians or vegans alike. The restaurant is usually fairly busy, but the staff are always calm and on hand to attend to everyone. We definitely recommend and will return on another occasion. Thank you!

  Well worth a visit
Whilst on holiday in Norwich, we came across this restaurant. Bit of a drive from Norwich, but most definitely worth it. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Restaurant was spotless and tables were well spaced out, not like other places we have been to. Curries were excellent, one of the best we have tasted. I would highly recommend this restaurant for its superb food, atmosphere, and cleanliness.

  Quality freshly cooked food to a high standard.
It’s hard to get a friendly welcome and above average service but I can quite honestly say that I received both at the Duke of Delhi the food was excellent and my partner and I were very happy with our visit.

  Lovely evening meal again!
We booked a table here for Saturday 28 March in the early evening after spending the day in Norwich. The drive is not very far from the city and worth it. We keep coming back because we enjoy the food and hospitality. They are able to cater to our dietary needs and we always feel comfortable here. Staff are friendly and welcoming, with attentiveness but not too invasive. The restaurant is warm with a cosy ambience. The food we choose is always extremely tasty and full of flavour and fresh. The menu has variety and will suit meat eaters and vegetarians alike. We will return and recommend to others. Thank you for an enjoyable evening.

  Excellent Food and Service

  Delicious Christmas lunch.
We booked for Christmas Day lunch, having never tried this restaurant before. The smells when we walked through the door were incredible! We were a little early, but our table was prepared in moments. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were all very friendly. I would absolutely eat here again as it was amazing.

  Brilliant experience
Enjoyed the whole experience of this restaurant from the friendly helpful staff to the best Indian food ive eaten, it caters for the whole family and if you havent eaten here yet then you should give it a try. Five stars all the way!!!!
